Zavier joined the law profession to make a difference. Working in the family sector allows her to help people understand their rights and responsibilities, and advocate for those who struggle to advocate for themselves.

Zavier is working in the Family law team alongside Kathryn Crooks. Her work includes care of children matters, family violence proceedings, Oranga Tamariki matters and relationship property.

Personal Profile:

Zavier was born and raised in Hamilton and moved to Whanganui in 2022 to join the Armstrong Barton Team.

She graduated from the university of Waikato in April 2023 and was admitted to the bar in October 2023.

Passionate about family law and advocating for those who need to be heard the most, Zavier aims to work towards Lawyer For Children (L4C) status and become involved in youth advocacy work.

When not at work you will find her volunteering with Citizens Advice Bureau or serving as a committee member of her football club.

In her spare time Zavier likes to be outdoors, camping, on the sports field or tending to one of the plants in her jungle.
